Adult onset diabetes

'If I have seen further, it's because of the shoulders of the giants before me' sir Isaac Newton is quoted as once saying.

I could swear I never was a fan even before I ever read this quote. I don't like observational physics. Anybody can observe a falling body and make notes about it. I don't like giants either. I need to start on a clean slate so as not to add bias of any sort. Correction, almost anybody. Criminal that it almost slipped my mind. We got MPs in the house, and load shedding to remind us of their poor note taking capacity.
They might feel insulted I underscored them in myopic ratings.

Type II diabetes should not be classed in the same group as early onset diabetes. The only thing the two have in common is the raised blood glucose. The rest is so divergent even a feeding trough seated cadre can see, candle light or not.

Type I is essentially hypoglycemia in all its pathological manifestations. The brain is not wrong in analyzing it as such. God knows best. No insulin, no intracellular glucose, finish and klaar. That's why blindly giving glucose to a hyperglycemic patient causes no harm. Doesn't matter what the intravascular HGT is saying, which is what you read on the HGT machine. This unfortunately is the basis of bunching these two together. It's not inside you. The intracellular space is what matters most and it's hypoglycemic there.

That's why the response is ketosis to supplement the intra cellular hypoglycemia with fat for energy in the form of acetyl coA to ketone pathway. That's why they are wasted and thin. Fat is used to drive your energy needs, proceding to serve even the glucose selective brain in the long run, otherwise ketotic diets would kill. This is a fasting or hungry brain response. No sugar in the blood response. Yes, low or no sugar in the blood response. Not a slip in my median nerve.

Type II gives the opposite where fat is stored almost everywhere, liver pancreas, omentun and subcutaneously. The hyperglycemia in the blood is hyperglycemia inside the cell because it's accompanied by a high insulin. Ineffective but high nonetheless.

We have enough insulin in this case to transport the glucose across the cell membrane. That's why the opposite signal code when the message is sent to the fat cells. Sustained high insulin and high and non responsive glucose is a bad combination. Insulin resistance picture in the long run. Buffalo morphs all over the streets, hugging a 2L coke bottle.

Storage, and more storage for leaner times is broadcasted to all systems. As if that will ever come, with coke, mealie pap and rice stapled into our diet.

The complications are different too. We  are blind to that prompting too. Type II is macro vascular and type I is micro.

It doesn't stop there, as T I is genetic and T II is all sugar addiction based. How we still insist they are related just because they both show same reading on the HGT is perplexing to say the least.

You don't need to be Einstein, follow the motive in any crime and you might just stumble onto the solution, is the dictum in forensics. The illicit money is flowing into the drug companies that supply the ineffective treatment and the sugar supply chain multinationals that drives the diabetic epidemic. They together are the beneficiaries of this medical ignorance, or possibly party to the crime. History might not be that forgiving to our ignorance.

My proff as a student nudged my ribs numb when I even suggested we might be dutifully following the mammoths into extinction. I guess I have no ribs to protect no more, possibly theoretical physics not leaving my brain at peace to catch even a short nap.

Nudge the 2L coke off the buffalo grip and diabetes II is no more, so would many industries like soft drinks, Illovo, Iwisa, tastic, in essence the whole economy of our 'civilized world' as we know it. Not to mention metformin. The casualty list is too long for this blog. Water should be all we need if that cadre was not running the Rand water board.

It won't be easy. Sugar is an addiction worse than heroine if statistics have any sway.
No sugar alternatives or sweetners either. This is a topic for another day.
Cucumber, brocoli or lettuce could probably be slipped through without much damage.

I am no Atkins advocate, but he is pointing in the right direction. I am a physiology student at heart. Atkins is extreme and a stressor to homeostasis.

I am no dietician either. The list of innocent carbs is a lot longer than this. It has to have color to it as a simple flag. No whites for once. Never thought I could safely say this without Afriforum knocking at my door the next day, summons in hand. White farmer hating black!
Watch for preservatives too.

If biochemistry and physiology of beauty and health are the elements of every mix, then results are assured
