Beauty Weight and the Gadgets, do they Work?

Business is unfortunately an unchartered mine field for most mortals, cut throat and vicious dark corridors navigated by thugs in pinstriped suits out to make money at all costs without regard for the psychiatric queue they leave behind. Anyone who ever tried to return anything that doesn’t work as expected for cash refund from an Indian shop owner as an extreme example (our most actively rising market if Zuma and Gupta partnership is anything to go by) should have a good idea of what I am saying.

 This could not have been more gruesomely depicted by the weight and beauty industry. Fad after fad with the distributing company taking no responsibility for the failure of the one before this new found freedom on promotion from weight blues of the past. The history of the weight industry is written with blood of the victims of the failed last new solution. If there is anything new that still promotes the old before it, I will give a million Zim dollars to the first person who makes me aware of it.

The reason for the failure is simple, assuming that the new gadget dissolved the fat in the first place. The fat challenged subject needs to reverse or at least stop the slide. Filling a leaking container with petrol bought in South Africa is not an option. Filling a leaking container or car tank with petrol passed onto Botswana at 80% discount probably not a good idea either. With stereotypes pushing their way into our constitution, you don’t want to be too fat in case the next chief justice doesn’t like ugly or fat people. Today might be gays or women tomorrow could be a BMI (body mass index) above 25.

There hopefully will come a day when we have as effective weight loss gadgets as liposuction or laser fat blasting but if you still eat at KFC, Mac Donald and or the associated fast food chain group, you will be a customer for life. The weight business model above is waiting for a subject fit, you will stay fat and you have to accept that the goal post is moved not so much by the pinstriped corridor navigators of the stock exchange but by you. You need a quack more than you need the next gadget on promotion.
