Beauty and Acceptance, how to achieve both?

Your most vicious critique is you, and if you won’t accept you in this God given replica that faces you every time you look into your morning mirror, then you need a shrink. You are looking God in the face and you are rejecting him in you. Nothing is worse than that except maybe snuffing the life out of him. I am not the one to advice you about matters outside medicine but make your appointment with the shrink, or the priest now before you start losing insight, and assuming that your husband loves you anyway (for better or worse). I believe most shrinks and priests propagate their own work.

You are as beautiful as God made you though, except a few twigs here and there, which should preferably be authorised by us or any physiology and biochemistry based beauty clinic before you go ahead. It needs to be biochemically and physiologically sound conclusion to be sustainable and healthy. That’s how you were born and how best you add to the mirage of contrast this Garden of Eden is supposed to be.

If you have a cleft lip though, or two bums instead of the one you married your honest and God fearing husband with, then you need medical intervention to bring you back to your God given image. If your waistline has doubled since you were in university, you need intervention. Don’t misrepresent what you’re meant to be. Don’t try to look like Brook Shield or Diana Ross.  We are supposed to advise you on how to look as close to your impression without pushing the identity theft barrier too far. You don’t want to deny the inner you the right to life experience. Beyonce’ is living her life and I hope you will yours in the mould that best represent you. You don’t want JZ sniffing your butt.

Beauty is not skin deep, literally so. Accepting the fat blob rolling down the road is the first step. Accepting that the fat blob is denying what is, may have to be and possibly should be part of the emotional trip one has to travel to realize that dream of one. Sculpturing you whether biochemically, surgically or laser based  is only the refinement of what is already inside your heart so as to match the surface eroded by this harsh existence we call civilised life. Any surgeon or beauty clinic  who entertain the sculpturing before the inner acceptance is bound never to reach the end point, unless he is aiming for multiple treatments to satisfy his bank manager to begin with.

Take moderate small steps to your goal, you can always do more later, but cannot take back the surgery already done. Get a second opinion  about your expectations from somebody less critical of you, like a doctor.
